And so the journey begins… officially

Today the dream became a reality as we have started our journey through adoption.  Before we married Christina and I both knew that adoption was something that we believed in and wanted to do… one day.  However that “one day” drew closer and closer as God showed us month by month that our attempted grasps at control were futile.  When we began to look into various options before us, adoption was stuck on our hearts.  Not only was the thought of adoption playing over and over in our hearts like a song stuck in our heads, it seemed like everywhere we turned there was another sign pointing us to the blessing that is adoption.  When we look at the journey ahead we see lots of trials, but at each potential stumbling block we have been shown a new picture of God’s grace towards us.

Through this blog we hope to share with you the joys and the pains that are sure to come through this long, long road that we believe God has set us on.  If at times we seem weak, it’s because we are.  If at times we seem strong, it’s because God is.

In the end our goal is to share the love of Christ with a child who by other means may never hear his name.

If you have questions, please feel free to ask (but please keep it civil, and preferably through a personal message or email)  If you have encouragement, please send them as we will surely need them.  Finally,  if you have prayers… blanket us in them, because we will without a doubt be needed those.
